Equipment
Our work is using many instruments enabling efficiently synthesize and analyze the compounds. Some of them shared in our department are placed in this fotogallery. The equipment of the whole institute you can find in www.imtm.cz/equipment
500 MHz NMR
We use two NMR machines working on 400 and 500 MHz from JEOL company
Instruments for parallel synthesis
Various instruments are used for synthesis of chemical libraries with application of combinatorial chemistry
HPLC semipreps
Purification of compounds in lower amount is usually done with use of HPLC semipreparative systems including fully automatic one.
UPLC/MS
We use three LC/MS machines Waters for analysis of intermediates, reaction mixtures and final products.
Fluorescence and UV/VIS spectrometers
Spectral properties are measured with use of UV/VIS as well as fluorescence spectrometer
Microwave reactors
For improvment of reactivity microwave assistence is sometimes advantageous.
Flash Chromatography systems
For purification of compounds in higher amount we use flash chromatograph from Buchi company.
DNA/RNA/LNA synthesizer
Modified oligonucleotides can be synthesized in our "oligosynthesizer"
